White Orchid Beach House

The Beach House is a private estate right on the ocean in Makena, Maui. As soon as I saw it I feel in love.
We had our ceremony and reception under the palm trees on the lawn beside the beach. We rented the site from 2:00pm - 10:00pm.
We absolutlely loved the Beach House! It was the perfect location for our dream wedding.

You can only book the Beach House through White Orchid Wedding (WOW). So after looking around at other sites and Coordinators the Beach House won out and this is how we chose to work with WOW. My Coordinator was Stacey.
Throughout the planning stages I lost sleep over our decision to work with WOW. I was worried for a few reasons:
- WOW charges more than other Coordinators. Then they add 20% on top of everything.
- They don't allow "non approved" WOW vendors on site which was frustrating because I found alot of really great vendors through the knot and wasn't allowed to use them because they weren't approved.
- I had some communication issues with Stacey in the planning stages.
However, the coordination the day of the wedding was perfect! Stacey and the rest of the WOW staff went out of their way to ensure things ran smoothly. I didn't worry about a thing.
We're happy with our decision to be married at the Beach House and use WOW. We had the wedding of our dreams in a perfect location!
