Frank Amodo
http://www.amodophoto.comphoto.com

We had originally booked with another photographer, but after seeing all the gorgeous photos that Frank had taken for other Knotties we had to switch.

Lucky for me another WOW bride (I can't remember her knottie name right now), had gone through all the trouble of getting Frank to shoot her wedding.  So all I had to do was give my Coordinator that knotties name and wedding date and it was not problem for us to book him!

Frank is fun, easy to work with and his work is beautiful.  Both Russ and I had alot of fun working with Frank.  We are so happy with the teasers that were on his blog and can't wait to get the rest.

Jamie Lawrence
http://www.jamielawrence.com

Jamie Lawrence sang for us during the ceremony.  These are the songs he sang:

Making Memories of Us - MOH to walk down the aisle
Lost in this Moment With You - For my Dad and I to walk down the aisle
Somewhere Over the Rainbow - For our first walk as man & wife!

Jamie also sang a song during the ceremony, but neither Russ or I remember what it was?

Jamie's songs were beautiful and it was lovely to have a live musician rather than a cd.  But he was really for the guests since Russ and I were so nervous that neither of us really heard him singing.  But he had a very nice voice on his website.

Pastor Vance
http://www.pastorvance.com

Pastor Vance was fantastic.  He was very calming and personable.

He blew the conch once for my MOH to walk  out, three times for my and my dad to walk out.  Then he blew the conch for our first kiss.  We had to keep kissing the entire time the conch was blowing.  He can blow for a long time!

We chose the Hawaiian Non-Religions wedding vows.

Kalei Jaramillo

My MOH organized for Kalei to come and do a group hula lesson for the girls while the boys were playing golf.  Kalei brought grass skirts, leis and plumeria for everyone.  She taught us some Hawaiian words, some of the history behind the dance and then the taught us the steps to the Hukilau.

Her contact information is: 808-276-4852 [email protected]

Kihei Kai Nani Condos
www.kiheikainani.com

We stayed in Kihei at the Kihei Kai Nani Condos.  All  of our guests stayed there as well.

Things we liked:
- It's right across from Kamaole Beach II
- It's within walking distance to several shops, restaurants and beaches
- They allowed us to hold the Hula Lessons and Welcome BBQ at the central Pavillion
- They gave us all our guests door codes so we could deliver their welcome bags and turn on their A/C so their rooms weren't scorching hot
- They gave us and all our guests 10% off, so we paid $89 per night
- We had a washer and dryer in our room

Things we didn't like:
- Our room was by far the ugliest room in the whole complex.  We know because we say 10 others.  It had bumpy sponge art all over the wall, there were shells spackled all over the wall in the bathroom and the decor was straight from the 70s.  BUT we were never in our room, so we got over it pretty quickly.  If you plan on staying here and don't want our room it was building 9 room 270.
- Not much to dislike other than that!
